🥗 Natural Diet Guide
A good fitness routine starts with good nutrition. You don’t need an expensive or complicated diet. Focus on a variety of nutritious, minimally processed foods and build balanced meals around your individual needs.
What to Include in Your Diet
🥦 Vegetables & Fruits
Include a variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits to provide fibre, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.
🌾 Whole Grains
Choose foods such as whole-wheat roti, oats, brown rice, millets and other whole grains where appropriate.
🫘 Pulses & Beans
Dal, chana, rajma, peas and other pulses can be useful sources of protein and fibre.
🥛 Milk & Curd
Milk, curd and other suitable dairy foods can contribute protein and calcium.
🥜 Nuts & Seeds
Almonds, peanuts, walnuts, seeds and similar foods can provide healthy fats and nutrients. Keep portions appropriate because they are calorie-dense.
🍳 Protein-Rich Foods
Depending on your dietary preference, options can include eggs, dairy, paneer, soy, pulses, fish or lean meats.
💧 Water
Stay hydrated throughout the day and drink according to your activity level, weather and individual needs.
ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition provides dietary guidance for Indians, including an emphasis on dietary variety and nutritious food choices.

🔥 How Often Should You Exercise?
For healthy adults, WHO recommends 150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week, or 75–150 minutes of vigorous activity, along with muscle-strengthening activities involving the major muscle groups on at least 2 days per week.
You don’t have to do everything at once.
A simple weekly routine could look like:
| Day | Workout |
|---|---|
| Monday | Chest + Triceps |
| Tuesday | Back + Biceps |
| Wednesday | Walking / Cardio / Recovery |
| Thursday | Shoulders + Abs |
| Friday | Legs |
| Saturday | Light Cardio / Full Body |
| Sunday | Rest & Recovery |
Remember: Your ideal routine depends on your fitness level, goals, schedule and recovery.
